Job Summary Responsible for providing support to physician and nursing staff and receiving patients and their families. - Assist the doctor with patient preparation (i.e., history, physicals, obtaining specimens, vital signs, age appropriate measurements, reason for visit, etc.)
- Triage patients- Fill out forms for school (i.e., immunization forms, sports, WIC, etc.)
- Sterilize equipment.
- Dress minor wounds when necessary.
- Clean and sanitize exam rooms between patients.
- Distribute educational brochures and pamphlets.
- Chart maintenance.
- Perform audio and visual test.
- Performs other duties as required. Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
