What are the responsibilities and job description for the PET Nuclear Medicine Technologist position at Childrens Hospital of Birmingham?
Performs Nuclear Medicine and PET examinations to assist in a patient’s medical diagnosis. Completes all Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures in accordance with established protocols, and produces images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services, strives for excellent customer service, maintains patient confidentially, and a safe environment. Provides patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. - Registry Eligible in Nuclear Medicine
Graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine
One year of PET experience preffered.
