What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Intern Foundation position at Childrens Hospital of Birmingham?
The Children's of Alabama Foundation is seeking a current college student, current graduate students, or recent college graduate interested in providing support with community and corporate engagement. In return, Children's of Alabama will provide an opportunity for the intern to gain experience in areas such as fundraising, philanthropy, and the day-to-day operations of the only freestanding pediatric hospital in the state. The Foundation Intern will report to the Resource Development Coordinator and will support the entire Foundation team.
- Education
- Must currently be enrolled in advanced level of education in a coordinating field of study. 3.0 or higher GPA required.
- Experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivation, adaptability, and time-management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Interest in community development, event planning and non-profit fundraising
- Licensures, Certifications, and / or Registries
High school diploma or equivalent required
