We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia - Main Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic cardiology department, you will be responsible for performing advanced cardiac ultrasound modalities, including transthoracic echo, stress echo, and assistance in transesophageal echo.
Responsibilities:
- You will prepare preliminary interpretation reports, billing procedures, study transmittal, and coverage of satellite sites.
- You will perform echocardiograms in accordance with lab standards while meeting daily volume expectations.
- You will respond to emergent exams in a timely manner and follow department workflows for reporting, billing, and standard daily performance.
- You will ensure patient care is provided in a clean, safe, quiet, and secure environment.
Requirements:
- You must have advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- You must have advanced proficiency in operation of ultrasound equipment and digital reporting software.
- You must participate in national, international, or original research studies.
