JOB DESCRIPTION
- School Age Coordinator ADDITIONAL DUTIES FOR LEAD TEACHER
This job description is for programs that have multiple rooms of school-age children and one Lead Teacher has been placed in charge of coordinating all activities for all groups. Experience/Education 1) Has 1 year CLLC or other related experience in phonics curriculum and has 2-year minimum classroom experience. 2) Has the ability to communicate with and to motivate others. 3) Consistently follows through with all assignments. 4) Excellent role model to other teachers and maintains a model classroom. 5) Stays abreast of new developments in the field of Early Childhood Education; specifically children 5-12yrs. Curriculum Duties 1) Monitors staff’s weekly lesson plans to ensure curriculum is being implemented daily, and to ensure the appropriateness of other planned activities. 2) Plans, keeps inventory and coordinates sharing and use of supplies requested by school-age program. 3) Assists in ordering summer school-age craft/curriculum supplies. 4) Coordinates summer program and field-trip paperwork. 5) Trains, Mentors, and Monitors new school-age staff in curriculum and state licensing regulations. 6) Works with teachers on Quality Assurance Checklist Administrative Duties 1) Manages daily staffing keeping in budget and in state licensing ratios. 2) Ensures building cleanliness. 3) Manages customer satisfaction for staff, parents, and students. 4) Ensures positive daily communication with parents and Center Director. 5) Communicates and supports company change. 6) Completes any additional miscellaneous duties as assigned. Company-Team Duties 1) Communicates company trainings to school age staff and searches for school-age training opportunities as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
