Children’s Lighthouse Learning Center of Lake Houston is seeking an Curriculum Coordinator to join our school. Curriculum Coordinator Job Description:
- Able to work flexible hours between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.
- Supports Childrens Lighthouse policies, procedures and systems to ensure safe, healthy environment in compliance with Childrens Lighthouse and State Standards at all times.
- Represents Childrens Lighthouse to public, community, parents, visitors and staff with professionalism and integrity.
- Attends meetings and trainings as directed.
- Consistently follows through with all duties and miscellaneous duties as assigned in competent and timely manner.
- Day to day operations in compliance with Quality Assessment Standards of
- Able to teach any classroom at any time. Will serve as a substitute teacher if needed.
- Assumes major responsibility for curriculum implementation.
- Be in the classroom coaching teachers if needed.
- Leading by example, redirecting children or teaching centers if needed.
- Follows through with all assigned duties and additional duties as assigned and Receives instruction and direction in appropriate manner.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

- Participates in activities of professional and personal growth.
Experience and Education:
- Minimum of 5 year experience in a licensed child care facility.
- Knows State Minimum Standards
- Able to Maintain CPR and First Aid and Food Manager's Certificate
Job Requirements: In order to be considered for this position, you must meet all state licensing requirements, including:
- 5 years of child care experience or related field.
- Previous management experience preferred
- CDA or Associates degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Pass a background check and have a clean driving history.
- Strong communication skills.
Hours : flexible from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Compensations: Based on Experience $15 - $18.50
