Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education and overall child development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing individualized support as needed.
- Engage in behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions among students.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are accessible and safe for children.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education best practices.
Requirements
- Experience working with students in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of literacy education techniques and child development principles.
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
- Experience in toddler care or behavior management strategies is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- A passion for teaching young children and fostering their growth in a classroom setting.
- Montessori training or experience is an advantage but not required.
