Overview
Medical Assistants provide basic, uncomplicated patient care and assist with unit/department operations under direct supervision of a physician, APRN, PA, or RN. Assignment of job responsibilities are delegated by the medical provider, RN, Charge Nurse, N

If you are selected for this position, you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.
Responsibilities
- Provides supportive patient care.
- Assists in the maintenance of a safe environment and promotes efficient and safe operations.
- Performs clerical functions.
- Attends education programs, unit meetings and assigned committees.
- Shares responsibility for teaching and orientation of new personnel (within own skill level).
- HS diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years experience 1 year of experience in patient or customer facing roles
- Other Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- One of the following: National Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant required upon hire
- BLS certification Required Upon Hire
- Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)- certification by National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP); OR
Salary : $20
