Overview
Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician III - Certified assists in the preparation and distribution of medications using appropriate pharmaceutical technique, computer programs and various technical automation equipment. Pharmacy Technician III has advanced experience in pharmacy working with non-sterile or sterile preparations and contributes to the effective operation of the department.

Responsibilities
- Procures and distributes medication orders per physician request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Contributes to the effective operation of the department.
- Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies and procedures.
- HS diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years experience in a pharmacy setting as a pharmacy technician. Experience in both hospital and retail setting is a plus.
- One of the following: Certified Pharmacy Technician - National, ExCPT Pharmacy Technician required upon hire
- Registered Pharmacy Technician - KS
- Employees must obtain Registered Pharmacy Technician - KS or equivalent within 90 days
- PHARM TECH REG MO Registered Pharmacy Technician - MO Only if primary work location is in Missouri Required 90 Days
- PHARM TECH REG KS Registered Pharmacy Technician - KS Only if primary work location is in Kansas Required 90 Days
