Overview
Responsible to maintain in a clean and sanitary manner all facilities of the hospital as assigned by the Manager. Assigned work areas shall be maintained at a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation according to established policies and procedures and with the guidance of the Manager. Requires satisfactory completion of special procedures as assigned, from time to time, by the Managers. Directs employees in absence of managers, holds employees accountable to complete work assignments. Complete room inspections, patient interviews, and operational tours of units/ Departments. Supervisors will assist in investigations for corrective action on employees and patient complaints.

Responsibilities
- The EVS Supervisor will help operate the shift. The Supervisor will pass out keys and pagers answer an ascom phone, delegate work orders, pass out work assignments, monitor the bed board system.
- The EVS supervisor is a working supervisor and will complete work in assigned work areas.
- Required to handle hazardous waste, general waste and soiled linens to transport throughout the hospital facility to collection site for contractual removal.
- The EVS supervisor will have direct reports
- The EVS supervisor will complete room inspections and patient interviews
- Associate's Degree and 1-2 years experience Healthcare experience preferred or
- HS diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years experience or
- Other 7 or more years experience At least 7 years experience in Environmental Services.
