General Purpose of Job
Assist the Licensing Supervisor and Programs Department staff with correspondence, appointments, including internal and external schedules, and the daily administrative duties of the Licensing Department. Support the Foster Care Recruitment and Retention by completing administrative functions and maintaining systems for tracking and reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and track recruitment phone line and respond to inquiries. Follow-up with Licensing Agencies as needed.
- General administrative duties to include filing, scanning, copying, and mailing for the foster care program.
- Maintain computer tracking systems, including Excel databases as they pertain to licensing unit.
- Prepare packets of information for licensing trainings and meetings.
- Type agendas and take minutes at meetings and staffings.
- Other duties may be assigned as special projects may be requested
Working Hours
CNH’s work week is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Your supervisor will advise you of your work hours; however, business office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Travel
Travel in and outside of Circuit 13 (Hillsborough County) is required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, A.A. degree preferred; a minimum of three (3) years of previous administrative/secretarial experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders. Proficiency in drafting and editing documents, emails, and reports utilizing Microsoft Office Suite. Must be able to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to review documents for consistency and completeness.

Certificates, License, Registrations, backgrounds, drug screens, Etc.
- Valid driver’s license required, with proof of insurance
- Driver’s license check is a requirement
- No special certification or registration is required for this position
- Criminal background screening (fingerprinting) (Local Law Enforcement and FBI/FDLE)
- Drug Screening is a requirement
- Children’s Network participates in E-Verify
Other Requirements
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, other employees, and the general public. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percentages, ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to be proactive, as well as handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands
The physical demands of this position are generally moderate. The role may require extended periods of sitting, standing, and using a computer. Occasional lifting of office supplies, files, or materials up to 25 pounds may be required. Work Environment
This is an in-office-based position focused on administrative work, where the noise level may be moderate. This role may involve occasional travel among agency locations, extended periods of computer work, and frequent interactions across multiple departments.
