- Job Summary
- Perform non-clinical triage of patients to be scheduled to ensure appropriate provider placement, communicate with caregivers for scheduling and rescheduling, support providers schedules and templates, verify insurance benefits and eligibility, review charges, edit claims, and work all assigned work queues within EHR system.
- Education
- High School graduate or equivalent. College degree preferred.
- Experience
- Strong computer skills required.Previous experience in healthcare/office setting required. Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication. Medical terminology helpful.
- Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Certification a plus
