Position Title: Program Director
Reports To: Executive Director
Exempt Status: Salaried, Exempt
Commitment Type: Full Time
Position Overview: The Program Director will oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services provided by the Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) in our rural Texas community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, child welfare, or a related field, and a passion for improving the lives of children and families affected by abuse and neglect. The Program Director will play a key role in facilitating communication and collaboration between the CAC and its partner agencies to ensure effective and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide leadership and supervision to CAC staff and volunteers to ensure effective and high-quality service delivery.
· Facilitate communication and collaboration among partner agencies to enhance multidisciplinary teamwork and coordination of services. Develop and implement new programs and initiatives to meet the needs of our community, including trauma-informed care, prevention and education efforts, and advocacy work.
· Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, including law enforcement, child protective services, mental health professionals, and other service providers.
· Monitor program outcomes and analyze data for grant reporting and evaluation purposes.
· Participate in local, state, and national coalitions and networks related to child welfare and advocacy.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field
· 5 years of experience in child development, advocacy, investigations, prosecution, or non-profit management with demonstrated supervisory experience.
· Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Experience with program development, evaluation, and grant management.
· Familiarity with trauma-informed care and best practices in child abuse prevention and treatment.
· Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and community partners.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
