Responsibilities
- Review of landscaping project plans and specifications.
- Estimate the cost of materials, equipment, and labor required for projects.
- Prepare detailed project estimates and bids.
- Coordinate with our buyer to obtain pricing and product information.
- Work with project and estimating managers to plan and budget for upcoming projects.
- Communicate with clients to clarify project scope and specifications.
- Keep detailed records of project estimates and final costs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials costs, and competitor pricing.
- Proven work experience as a Landscape Estimator or similar role in construction.
- Experience reading and interpreting landscape design plans.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detailed knowledge of landscaping materials and techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Four-year degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction Management or related field; or minimum of five years of experience as a commercial estimator.
