ChildServe is looking to hire an organized, efficient and customer service-focused Operations Assistant to manage schedules and coordination for our outpatient service areas. This position will bePart-Time.
Provides administrative support services to ensure that families, staff and visitors have a positive experience. Duties will be varied but will include answering a multi-line phone, welcoming and checking in visitors, on-demand scheduling, and completing clerical work/projects. Other tasks may be assigned as deemed necessary to the efficient operation of the facility.

Provides administrative support services to ensure that families, staff and visitors have a positive experience. Duties will be varied but will include answering a multi-line phone, welcoming and checking in visitors, on-demand scheduling, and completing clerical work/projects. Schedule
- Part-Time, ~12 hours per week
- Monday - Thursday, 3:15-6:15pm
- Answers multi-line telephone, routing the call as appropriate.
- Assist with mail as needed.
- Receive and process organizational faxes coming into the fax machine in a timely, confidential and accurate manner.
- Coordinates payment functions.
- Greets and identifies needs of visitors to ChildServe. Provides a positive customer service experience when interacting with families, visitors and staff. Identify and communicate to providers when clients have arrived for appointments.
- Provides clerical support to program and partner programs, as requested by leaders. May assist with updating data, providing project support, data collection and similar tasks. Completes other duties as assigned.
- H.S. Degree or GED equivalent required; some college preferred.
- Preferred: two years office/administrative experience including customer service.
- Ability to work effectively, accurately, and efficiently with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others, both verbally and in writing, and foster effective relationships with co-workers, families, and 3rd parties.
- Computer skills; specifically, Microsoft Office and experience using an electronic health record system.
- Maintain positive working relationships and demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population.
- Must exercise confidentiality regarding the affairs of clients, staff, their families, and Child Serve
- Ability to interpret and follow applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Ability to communicate in English effectively for understanding, in writing and verbally.
