We are hiring RNs and LPNs to join our inpatient services in the following areas :
Inpatient Complex Medical Care program, provides 24-hour skilled nursing care in a family-focused environment. We care for children, teens, and young adults who are unable to live at home due to their complex medical needs.
Pediatric Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit is the only freestanding, comprehensive pediatric inpatient rehabilitation program for children and young adults in the state of Iowa.

Wage : RN $28-37 / hr
LPN $25-29 / hr
Shift differentials :
1 / hr 2-6pm,
3.50 / hr 6-10pm
5 / hr 10pm-6am

When You'll Work
Options for prn, part-time, or full-time employment in all areas
Day, nights, rotating shifts and float pool are available
PRN : requires 2 shifts in a 6-week scheduling period
Part-time : 2 12-hour shifts
Full-time : 3 12-hour shifts
Most available shifts are 12 hours 6a-6p or 6p-6a but may vary depending on schedule needs.
What You'll Do
Within the nursing scope of practice, physician's orders, and the care plan, make decisions and deliver a full range of nursing care based on the fundamentals of the nursing process.
Maintain accurate, completed, and timely records as defined by nursing standards of practice and ChildServe policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively, respectfully, and professionally with residents, physicians, families, school personnel, ChildServe staff, and others to assure assigned child's care needs are assessed, communicated, and met.
Provide training to patients, families, and staff as needed to help advance the skills and knowledge of all people associated with a child's care delivery.
Demonstrate good stewardship of ChildServe equipment, supplies, and environment.
What You'll Need
Current valid license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in Iowa
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the clinic areas, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
Ability to communicate effectively in (or through) reading, writing and speaking the English language.
