Full-time Direct Support Professional / Caregivers positions at our Adult Family Home are available with a starting pay rate of $21.50 - $22.50 per hour( based on education and experience!) This position is located in Onalaska, WI - very close to Holmen, WI.
We have two positions available working the following hours:
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
This position would be working at an adult group home working with young adult special needs clients. We are seeking candidates who:

Chileda Institute provides residential, day-school, and Adult Family Home services to students and clients with cognitive challenges and extraordinary behavioral needs. We are seeking full-time Caregivers to join our team at our adult family home facility in Onalaska, WI. Our Caregivers play a vital role in helping our residents meet their treatment and program goals to teach essential life skills, including educational, leisure, daily living skills, social and community engagement, and communication skills.
Job Tasks:
- Provide supervision of young adult residents of group homes.
- Assist the residents with personal care, including, but not limited to, all or some of the following: bathing, grooming, fingernail/toenail care, and brushing teeth.
- Ensure residents take prescribed medications, including administering medications, as needed.
- Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
- Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own.· Provide supervision of residents of group homes.
