What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health & Wellness Care Professional-1st Shift (PART TIME) position at Chileda Institute Inc.?
OUR MISSION : Chileda's mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with cognitive and behavior challenges. Chileda's goal is to help students increase their appropriate social behaviors and develop independent living skills, through an enriched learning environment and individualized behavior programming.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Provide first aid treatment for minor injuries.
- Respond to urgent medical concerns on campus including seizures and serious illness or injuries and seek the assistance of the appropriate medical professions (e.g. nurse's hotline, poison control).
- Observe students in times of illness, consult with outside medical professionals, and provide
recommended treatment as needed.
