Direct Support Professional - Part Time - First Shift

Summary:Our Direct Support Professionals Improve the Quality of Life for the students we serve. You help them by playing with them and engaging in recreational activities, community outings and with a lot of imagination. Working with our students is not a job, it's an opportunity to help truly change lives! No prior experience is required and all training is company paid! We also have great staffing ratios, you'll work with 2 or just 1 student.Status Info:We offer Part Time positions on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift to support your best life. Full time positions come with Chileda's generous benefits plan. Positions start at $20.00/hr. with differentials for weekends and 3rd shift. Scheduling Options:

• Having fun with the students!
• Use a Trauma Informed approach when communicating with students.
• Demonstrate patience when students are experiencing challenging times.
• Model and teach appropriate social skills together with the students.
• Record behavior data and record goals and communication logs for assigned students each shift.
