What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Systems(IT) Specialist position at Chileda?
The Information Systems Specialist will support the operation and function of Chileda's Information Technology (IT) resources throughout the organization, including front-end user support. In addition to supporting users, this position will complete other IT projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Resources include but are not limited to network infrastructure, storage, servers, email, security, operating systems, and technological devices. RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Utilize the Help Desk Ticketing system to support and resolve staff issues
- Network planning, monitoring, maintenance, and support.
- Implement technology and new technology systems.
- Assist in supporting tech-related process improvements and IT-related projects.
- Maintain technological security systems, including security cameras, alarms, and FOB systems.

- Monday-Friday
- Between the general hours of 8:00am-5:00pm
- Associate's degree in an Information Technology-related field or equivalent training/work experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in helpdesk, networking, hardware set-up and repair, software installation, and support.
- Knowledge and experience with the following platforms or operating systems, including
- Microsoft OS, Apple iOS, Android OS, Chromebooks, Ubiquiti UniFi, Sophos
- Working knowledge and/or Admin experience of Microsoft 365 and its applications are required.
