Summary
As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. We are looking for someone who is dedicated and will develop professional relationships with guests as well as learn their dining preferences and be able to accommodate and anticipate guest needs. The ideal candidate will be available most week nights and must have Friday and Saturday night availability.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized waiting list.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to facilitate smooth operations.
- Utilize POS systems to process take-out orders and payments efficiently.
- Clean menus and occasionally assist servers in cleaning and resetting tables
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host/hostess in a restaurant setting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with POS systems, including Toast
- Background in food service and hospitality
- Ability to manage guest relations and provide excellent guest services
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and handling reservations
