We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our dynamic "Herd" in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared efficiently and delivered promptly to our guests. Duties
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of food orders.
- Manage the flow of orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Monitor food quality and safety, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to address any issues or special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expediting area.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
