Chillingham's Steak is a premier restaurant in downtown Westerly. Located behind Perks & Corks on the Pawcatuck River we are a 100 seat restaurant specializing great steaks. Open for dinner 4pm to 9pm every day except Tuesday.
As a member of our Kitchen Team, you will play a vital role in our culinary operations, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent service to our guests. Your passion for food and hospitality will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences.
*Responsibilities* - Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of our executive chef. - Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the kitchen. - Support the team in setting up for daily service and special events, ensuring all food items are prepared and presented beautifully. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery.
*Skills* - Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. - Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to help others as needed.
