What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Assistant, People position at Chime?
About the role
We are looking for a proactive, organized, and efficient self-starter to join our team in the role of Executive Assistant for the People Team. In this position, you will support three to four Vice Presidents within the department and work closely with our Executive Team. Your role will be essential in managing daily schedules, creating efficient systems to keep things organized, and planning team events, communication, and calendaring. The support you provide is critical to Chime's success.
This position is full-time and located in our San Francisco office. There may be a need for occasional correspondence outside of normal hours.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $116,100 and may go up to $161,300. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
In this role, you can expect to :
- Manage 3-4 VP's calendars extensively, including organizing internal and external meetings across multiple time zones & locations.
- Work closely with the Chief People Officer's EA to maintain continuity in the department and ensure an efficient meeting structure across all sub-functions.
- Utilize shared calendars, project management tools, and communication platforms to enhance collaboration and maintain transparency on tasks and deadlines.
- Coordinate domestic and international itineraries & travel, including booking flights & hotels, and ensuring that executives are well-prepared during trips.
- Manage financial administration on behalf of the Exec team, e.g., processing receipts & invoices.
- Conduct event planning and coordination of team onsites and events.
- Onboard and manage vendors / consultants.
- Communicate with internal & external parties, exhibiting the highest degree of professionalism.
- Compile and edit briefing materials and synthesize this information into executive summaries / presentations with key business and communication insights.
- Strive to deeply understand the Chime business priorities and work with the team to ensure that their time is organized accordingly.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chief of Staff to execute priorities & events.
- Be involved in special or other ad-hoc projects as required, including miscellaneous tasks that may occasionally be personal in nature.
- Exercise absolute discretion at all times.
