About the role
Chime is looking for an engineering intern to join our Financial Platform team. This platform will power the most important financial activities that millions of Chime members undertake every day. You will gain valuable professional experience working with cutting edge cloud technology and distributed systems alongside engineers with a wealth of experience to share. This is an exciting opportunity to learn while playing a role in a critical initiative at Chime.
This role is structured as a 3 month engagement. The starting hourly rate offered for this role and target level of experience will begin at $34 and up to $49. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
In this role, you can expect to
- Assist with the design, development, testing, and deployment of platform features
- Learn and execute on agile methodologies, follow test-driven development approach
- Work with a cross-functional team and understand how software is developed and maintained at scale
