Pay: $22.53/hr
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION(S):
- Works cooperatively with the management team to schedule and complete medical appointments for individuals served promptly.
- Completes all necessary medical follow-ups and required post-medical appointments promptly.
- Works with medical providers and pharmacies to ensure all medications are ordered and filled as prescribed.
- Completes weekly medication reviews accurately.
- Review residents’ medical files weekly.
- Assists with emergencies, communicates and documents such incidents by Agency policies and procedures.
- Uses technology for the completion of specified job duties.
- Attends work regularly according to assigned work schedule and by Agency policy.
SECONDARY FUNCTION(S):
- Works cooperatively and effectively with stakeholders while meeting the needs of individuals served and the programs.
- Provides personal care to persons served during specified periods.
- Available to assist Residential Managers with needed support.
- Provides transportation to the individuals served when needed.
- Works alongside the Residential Manager to ensure the Emergency Food and Supplies Kit, OSHA kit, and First Aid kit are sufficiently stocked.
- Attends and participates in in-service training, staff meetings, and other activities to facilitate professional development.
- Works cooperatively with others including all staff, supervisors, administrators, co-workers, individuals served, community professionals, customers, vendors, and the public.
- Assumes other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as needed.
EDUCATION: Associate of Arts or Science degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in Human Services. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Two years experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
NOTE: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted iinstead ofthe requirements specified above under Education and Experience.
