What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Counsel position at China Communications Constructions Company Limited?

Key Responsibilities :

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements to protect the company’s interests.
Provide legal advice on contractual obligations, risk mitigation , and regulatory compliance.
Handle business disputes, contract breaches, and negotiations , working towards favorable resolutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure contracts align with business objectives and legal requirements.
Liaise with external legal counsel on dispute resolution, litigation, or arbitration when necessary.
Conduct legal research and stay updated on regulatory changes affecting commercial transactions.
Develop and implement legal policies to enhance contract management and risk control.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university; admission to the Singapore Bar is a bonus.

3-8 years of experience in commercial law, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution.

Strong knowledge of Singapore contract law and business litigation procedures .

Proven ability to handle business disputes and negotiate settlements efficiently.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess legal risks and provide practical solutions.

Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
