Stockroom Keeper

Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for hourly production team member positions in our Columbia, South Carolina manufacturing facility. As an hourly production team member, you will need to work in a fast paced, high-speed environment, following standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.

Job Description:

The Stockroom Keeper Responsibilities Include:

• Maintain cleanliness and order of the warehouse and offices. All items must present themselves in a neat and orderly fashion. Paperwork cannot be left scattered and equipment, such as radios and computers must be lined up or otherwise kept clean and orderly.
• Process and document incoming materials. This includes the proper documentation and recording of these materials, as well as requiring proper handling documentation for goods issue, etc. Materials can be purchased goods, packing materials, chemicals, raw materials, and anything else that is documented and recorded in our systems.
• Process and document Finished Products goods. With these items, it is crucial to physically inspect the product during all phases of handling, from workshop-to-warehouse inbounding, to the outbound delivery of these goods through sales. No product should be accepted or delivered in damaged condition. It is the responsibility of the stockroom keeper to resolve all damaged issues with the product.
• Maintain the cleanliness and order of stockrooms and warehouse areas. This includes the accurate documentation of inventory cards, and the proper inventory of these goods. Discrepancies of inventory will need to be investigated, and poor upkeep or failure to maintain accuracy can result in a performance point demerit, and/or other disciplinary actions.
• Perform daily functions, such as reports, in the absence of the team leader(s). Since the warehouse operates 7 days a week, the warehouse keeper(s) should be familiar with daily reports and documentation that needs to be maintained on days where a team leader is not present.
• Investigate and troubleshoot discrepancies of inventory. Every stockroom keeper must be familiar with the software and tools of the department. This includes Office software products, the Jushi barcode system, and SAP. Every keeper must also understand how to use these tools to generate reports and data used to resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with forklift driving functions, as needed, in case of staffing shortage.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Administer required daily maintenance on assigned lines.
• Identify and solve problems in fabrication process without compromising quality of product.
• Read and follow standard work directions on the production line.
• Work in a team environment embedded in lean manufacturing methodology.
• Drive plant performance through Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost metrics.

What You Need to Succeed

• Must be 18 years of age
• 1-Year of Manufacturing experience
• Minimum of 2-Years Sit-Down Forklift Driving Experience
• 1-Year Shipping and Receiving Experience
• Ability to lift 50 Pounds
• Ability to work assigned 12-Hour shifts
• Flexibility to work overtime as scheduled, including weekends and holidays
