Job Purpose
The PACE Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the operational aspects of the PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program, ensuring that services for elderly participants are delivered efficiently and in accordance with all regulatory and organizational requirements. This position focuses on coordination, reporting, compliance, and administrative tasks necessary for the successful operation of the PACE program, with a strong emphasis on improving operational performance, participant satisfaction, and healthcare delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operational Support :
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the PACE program, including managing participant admissions, enrollment, and care planning.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation for participants is complete, accurate, and compliant with PACE guidelines and regulations.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, social workers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely service delivery for PACE participants.
- Track and report on program metrics, such as participant health outcomes, satisfaction, and service delivery efficiency.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance :
- Monitor adherence to all regulatory requirements set forth by federal, state, and local agencies.
- Conduct audits and reviews of participant records to ensure quality assurance standards are met.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure continuous improvement in program compliance and quality of care.
- Communication & Collaboration :
- Serve as a liaison between healthcare teams, administrative staff, and external stakeholders such as Medicare, Medicaid, and other partners.
- Provide training and support to staff regarding operational procedures and PACE guidelines.
- Communicate program updates and changes to stakeholders as needed to maintain alignment with PACE goals.
- Data Management & Reporting :
- Maintain accurate data on participant health, service usage, and operational performance.
- Prepare reports and assist in data analysis to help track program performance, outcomes, and trends.
- Assist in preparing materials for regulatory and accreditation reviews.
- Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution :
- Address operational challenges, including participant service concerns, staffing issues, and logistical problems.
- Proactively identify potential issues and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them promptly.
- Continuous Improvement :
- Recommend improvements to operational processes based on program performance and participant feedback.
- Participate in project teams or task forces to improve program efficiency and effectiveness.
