Your Mission: 

The Associate Director of In-Home Services plays a pivotal role in advancing CASL’s mission to provide culturally competent, client-centered care for seniors. This leader is accountable for developing, expanding, and enhancing the in-home services programs, driving measurable outcomes for older adults. With a focus on strategic leadership, operational excellence, and program growth, this role is key to shaping the future of senior care at CASL through cross-departmental collaboration, quality initiatives, and compliance with regulatory standards. The Associate Director is a forward-thinking, dynamic leader passionate about creating sustainable, impactful programs that improve the lives of seniors.

Your Impact: 


As an Associate Director of In-Home Services, you will:

Leadership
  • Lead the strategic implementation and continuous improvement of in-home services, ensuring programs are aligned with CASL’s goals and deliver high-quality, innovative solutions care for seniors. 
  • Develop, refine, and implement policies and procedures that support the operational excellence and growth of in-home services, ensuring all services meet or exceed accreditation and regulatory standards. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner agencies and stakeholders, gathering feedback and insights to enhance service offerings and expand community support. 
  • Collaborate with CASL leadership to ensure the integration of services across departments, driving a seamless and client-centered approach to care delivery. 
  • Manage the in-home services department budget, ensuring financial sustainability while adhering to CASL’s fiscal standards and accountability measures. 


Program Management
  • Provide supervision and guidance to the Chinese and Latinx Community Managers, ensuring efficient service delivery, staff performance, and achievement of program outcomes. 
  • Build and lead a high-performing team by actively engaging in the recruitment process, managing performance against key metrics, and fostering growth through coaching and development. Create opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure employee success. 
  • Retain a culturally competent workforce by providing staff with necessary training and ongoing support to deliver exceptional, culturally relevant in-home services that meet the needs of diverse clients. 
  • Lead cross-departmental collaboration to connect clients with additional services, ensuring holistic case management and continuous care. 
  • Oversee the development, maintenance, and evaluation of complex program services, coaching direct reports to optimize service quality and effectiveness. 
  • Partner with the Senior Services Director to strengthen a coordinated, person-centered service delivery model that integrates diversity, equity, inclusion, and access. 


Administration
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of in-home services, ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements. 
  • Devise and execute strategies to enhance program growth, quality, and client satisfaction, in alignment with CASL’s long-term objectives. 
  • Conduct quarterly quality assurance reviews, ensuring both electronic and physical client records meet CASL’s high standards. 
  • Maintain and ensure proper staffing levels, with trained and credentialed personnel that meet service delivery requirements. 
  • Monitor compliance with legal guidelines, internal policies, and quality standards, while continuously improving the program’s effectiveness. 
  • Lead data management and reporting efforts using Salesforce, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation of program services, statistics, and outcomes to support transparency and data-informed decision-making. 
  • Participate in professional development and leadership training to continuously improve leadership capabilities and stay current on industry best practices. 
  • Foster a strong partnership with the Salesforce team through proactive and timely communication, ensuring they are equipped to seamlessly integrate changes and implement updates that preserve data integrity, reporting accuracy, and overall system effectiveness. 


Must Haves - To thrive in this role, you should have:

Education & Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Non-Profit Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.  
  • At least five (5) years of progressive experience in senior services, public administration, or related fields, with a minimum of two (2) years in a leadership or management role. 
  • Demonstrated success in program management, with a proven track record of leading, developing, and growing sustainable programs that deliver measurable client impact. 

Skills & Knowledge:  
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, effectively managing multiple high-priority projects while exercising sound judgment in setting priorities and meeting deadlines. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues and foster collaboration across diverse stakeholders. 
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with a history of building and mentoring high-performing teams. 
  • Expertise in financial management, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance metrics, ensuring sustainable program growth and impact. 
  • Extensive program management expertise, with a focus on senior services, public health, or social services. 
  • In-depth understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks related to senior services and in-home care. 


Nice to Haves
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, with bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin and/or Toishanese). 
  • A master's degree. 
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce or similar data management systems. 
  • Experienced in utilizing project management tools such as Asana to set priorities and ensure timely execution of initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits: 


This position offers a salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications.
