Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to build relationships with their patients and and be part of a growing community. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to infants, children, and adolescents in a dynamic clinical environment. You will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and managing a variety of pediatric health issues.
Our pediatric office was first established in 2003. We are now looking to hire a NP to work part-time in a solo pediatric office. We are seeking a motivated, honest and earnest individual to join our team. The new hire will share after hours telephone on-call coverage but no ER or hospital on-call.

Duties
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within a Level I Trauma Center to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize telehealth technologies to provide remote consultations and follow-ups when necessary.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Pediatric Nurse Practitioner studies.
- Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) or equivalent.
- Experience in pediatrics and infant care necessary.
- Strong knowledge of acute pain management techniques and protocols.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment while demonstrating strong clinical judgment.
