Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care by utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care within their scope of practice, lead and guide patient/family teaching, and maintain standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivers safe and effective patient care using the nursing process.
- Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice as a registered nurse.
- Leads and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
- Maintains standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry.
- Communicates effectively with physicians regarding changes in patient condition.
- Responds quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
- Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy.
Requirements
- Current and valid state RN License.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- NIHSS or Stroke Certification preferred.
- COVID vaccination/boosters preferred.
- EDAP 1 and 2.
- BVP (MAB) training.
- EPIC EMR experience required.
Additional Details
- Declinations accepted for vaccinations. Total of 3 vaccines (or 2 if J&J was the initial dose) to be considered fully vaccinated.
- Proof of 2 Vaccines or Positive Titer showing immunity. Declinations accepted.
- Annual Respirator fit test. Can be completed onsite in Chino Valley Medical Center with Employee Health by appointment.
- Declinations accepted for Hepatitis B.
- Flu Vaccine or declination required October 1-May 31. Declinations accepted.
- Must be completed within 6 months of onboarding.
- Driver's license, State ID, or Passport required.
- Vaccination/titer showing immunity. Declinations accepted.
- Declinations accepted for Tdap.
- Documentation of previous positive TB skin test or Quantiferon must be submitted for a chest x-ray to be accepted.
- Must be complete within 1 year of onboarding. Must state clear to work.
- National Criminal Background Check within one year of start date.
