Requirements / Qualifications
General Description :
Under supervision of the Principal and Athletic Director, teach the fundamentals of the specified activity; be responsible for the planning, organization, and implementation of the specified activity.
Requirements :
A complete coaching packet must be submitted to Human Resources before the hiring process can be finalized.
The coaching packet requirements include but are not limited to the following :
Current CPR / First Aid / AED Certification and CIF Online trainings
Current Tuberculosis Test
CTC Clearance
Qualifications :
- Applicants must have demonstrated an exemplary history of modeling the following characteristics with stakeholder communities that include students, families, staff, and the extended community : displaying the highest degree of honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times; having effective and consistent communication skills, both written and verbal; and using clean speech.
- No discipline within the last five (5) years.
- Successful experience safeguarding fiscal responsibility : preparing budgetary recommendations, monitoring, verifying and reconciling expenditures of budgeted funds.
- Knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to the sport, the league rules, and CIF regulations.
- Knowledge of skills, strategies, and safety procedures in the mentioned sport (football).
- Knowledge in working with a Booster organization and with ASB.
- Successful experience in the mentioned sport (football) as evident by previous participation on a League Championship team preferred.
- High School Varsity Football coaching experience as a head coach or college coaching experience within the last year.
- Knowledge of A-G course requirements for Division 1 Athletics
