Description : Position Summary
Responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing departments (Entertainment, Public Relations, Advertising, Promotions, Direct Marketing, Player Development, Sales, and Player Services).
Essential Functions
- Provides exemplary customer service for all internal and external guests by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of the Marketing Department services.
- Greets and directs guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner.
- Maintains the professional appearance of the Marketing Department area, file room, meeting room, and front office.
- Answers telephones and directs callers to the appropriate Marketing or other casino personnel.
- Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website, and other related information.
- Types memos, email, and mail correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Takes and retrieves messages for various marketing personnel.
- Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
- Performs various clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, scanning, and collating.
- Copies, collates, and distributes information to and from the Marketing Department.
- Creates, updates & purges Marketing files, forms & records, according to retention guidelines.
- Completes interoffice mail runs at designated times of the day.
- Participates in special projects and committees for the Marketing Department.
- Accesses the player tracking system and makes edits to the system as necessary.
- Queries the player tracking database for specific Marketing / gaming information including guest demographics, comments, and needs.
- Assists with events to include ushering, setup, breakdown, and item distribution.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Associates Degree in Business, Hospitality and / or related field preferred.
Experience
Two years of clerical or office administration experience.
One year of customer service experience.
Computer Skills
Microsoft Office intermediate level in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Microsoft Access intermediate level preferred.
Certificates & Licenses
Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License.
Must have a valid Oregon Driver’s License.
Other Requirements
Knowledge of the Marketing functions preferred.
Knowledge of office practices and procedures; business English, punctuation, grammar, syntax, spelling,
effective research methods and record keeping.
Demonstrated ability to compose and present business correspondence and reports clearly and accurately.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule (occasional holiday and weekends required).
Demonstrated skill in database management / Excel in relation to formula / calculations and spreadsheet
development.

Work Environment
Work will take place in a small office environment with occasional exposure to a busy resort and gaming
environment with multiple distractions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to
moderate. Occasionally the work environment will be in locations exposed to smoke and the associated
affects.
Working Conditions
Conditions of employment include passing a pre-employment drug screen, a background investigation, and completing a 180-day introductory period.
