What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Development (End User) position at Chint Power Systems Americas?
Job Purpose
The Sales Development role will look to create new and develop existing relationships with large scale national end users such as : national retailers, property owners and managers, healthcare facilities / networks, large restaurant and hotel chains as well as large industrial properties such as warehouses and manufacturing plants. Building strong relationships with the direct end users of potential new solar properties. Help create go-to-market strategies for CPS for new categories and develop a business plan that will aid in creating larger revenues and bookings for CPS. Attend tradeshows frequently while simultaneously creating a new targeted tradeshow strategy. Will work directly with Vice President of Sales and President / GM of CPS America.
Duties and responsibilities
- Bring new partners onboard and maintain / develop relationships with new & existing partners.
- Access, clarify and validate partner needs and performances at regular intervals and maintain a high partner satisfaction rate
- Coordinate with other sales channels to avoid any potential conflicts.
- Manage funnels, forecast, and seize sales opportunities.
- Perform technical analysis, level-of-effort estimation, and development of direct communications
- Focus on user efficiencies, solving business / customer issues, invent creative solutions, and ensure data accuracy
- Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to grow revenue and customer base
- Layout the structure by region
- Define, create, and continuously evolve promotions and growth initiatives in support of our business objectives.
- Proficiency with MS Office as well as Salesforce is a plus. We will train you on our products, which is essential for sales
- Use creativity and be innovative to develop unique sales strategies

This job requires working in a hybrid setting in and out of office in Somerville NJ and / or NYC, and up to 50% travel to meet with customers and attend expos and trade shows
