Summer Intern

Job Purpose

CPS America is a leading and fast growing energy solutions provider serving customers with award winning string inverters and cost effective solutions for C&I and utility-scale solar PV applications. CPS continues to be the USA market leader for 3-phase string inverters with over 8 GW shipped for the US market. CPS has a team of service, sales, operations and applications engineers distributed across North America.

CPS is looking to add to its annual summer internship program with people who possess a passion for renewable energy and are ready to contribute and make a real impact at CPS America. The rotational summer internship is designed to give you experience in all phases of our business, including marketing, sales and business operations. There is engineering experience available as well if that's something you are interested in. This is a real internship, with no coffee runs, where you'll have an opportunity to truly contribute and work within a fast paced and exciting company.

Duties and responsibilities

• Work well in a team of others, able to collaborate help obtain a common goal
• Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
• Rotates through our divisions of responsibility and provides ideas to grow and improve the business.
• Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.
• Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems.
• Assists in creating performance reports.

Qualifications

Working Environment

This job requires working in an in-person setting 3 times a week with the ability to effectively communicate and work remotely 2 days a week as well. This is an hourly position and is expected to be 40 hrs per week. Monday through Friday 9am-5pm EST.
