What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales position at Chip 1 Exchange?
Essential Functions:
- Contact prospective clients - using several tools and communication formats - and add new accounts to the portfolio to increase number of customers and company revenue opportunities
- Maintain existing accounts by performing follow-up and constant interaction with customers to make sure Chip 1 will be the first distributor of choice when supply chain needs arise
- Provide solutions and find creative ways to help customers with respect to their supply chain needs to increase company revenue opportunities and strengthen relationships
- Negotiate prices for maximum mutual benefit between Chip 1 and its customers
- Secure sales transactions to increase company sales revenue
- Follow up with past due invoices and avoid oversights to prevent company revenue loss
- Input data and monitor our sales management system (XCRM) active purchase orders/shipments to make sure all are completed on time to provide great service and strengthen relationships with customers
- Work to achieve targets/goals set by the company to maximize company growth
- Perform additional related duties as required

Required Qualifications:
- Min 1-3 years of sales in related industry preferred
- Work Environment:
- Work primarily in office setting but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Working hours may include evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates (e.g. to facilitate overseas communication)
