Responsibilities
- Collaborate with drivers, engineers, and mechanics to manage race car operations during events.
- Optimize race car specifications and evolve them for enhanced performance.
- Analyze car performance data to provide actionable insights.
- Develop pit stop strategies in partnership with the strategist.
- Contribute to race car development projects, from inception to completion.
- Conduct off-track testing and measure vehicle performance.
- Create analytical tools to maximize vehicle efficiency.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the vehicle to support improvement and data sharing processes.
- Represent the team and sponsors professionally on and off the track, ensuring a positive experience for sponsors and guests during tours.
- Mechanical Engineering or relevant college degree required.
- Experience in IndyCar, IMSA, team internships, or Formula SAE programs is essential
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design, aerodynamics, and electronic systems.
- Proficiency with software tools such as Excel, Pi, Motec, VBA, SolidWorks, and MS Office 365.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Familiarity with the components, structural framework, and aerodynamics of race cars.
