Job Summary
The Facilities Specialist is responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient operation of our restaurants. This includes performing facility maintenance and repair, formulating preventative maintenance schedules, and carrying out set procedures in the event of facilities-related issues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong trade knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, commercial cooking equipment, appliance repair, and basic HVAC/refrigeration. Additionally, you should be knowledgeable about rules and regulations governing facilities safety requirements.
You will assist the Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects of restaurant management at the market level and perform facility maintenance and repair through monthly site visits and analysis of restaurants.
Key Responsibilities

- Formulate preventative maintenance schedules for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of restaurant facilities.
- Carry out set procedures to be followed in the event facilities cease functioning, function improperly, or present a threat to the health and safety of employees or customers.
- Train managers, crew, and other restaurant staff on how to manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair restaurant facilities.
Requirements
- Trade knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, commercial cooking equipment, appliance repair, and basic HVAC/refrigeration.
- Knowledgeable about rules and regulations governing facilities safety requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
