THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Senior Analyst, Commissary, you are responsible for all activities related to ongoing supplier management and the procurement of services, materials, and supplies related to CMG Commissary Item Procurement. Individual strategic tasks include negotiations, controlling costs (tier 1 and tier 2 level ingredients), ensuring continuous and efficient processing, and ensuring adequate long term production capacities by item. Maintain and update policies/procedures to ensure that procurement activities are in accordance with corporate standards.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Performs tactical/strategic functions related to daily procurement execution with CMG suppliers, CMG cross-functional partners, and DC's.
- Build/maintain excellent relationships with vendors, ensure they abide by CMG's rigorous supplier policies, fulfill deliveries, and help negotiate with commissary suppliers and tier 2 ingredient suppliers for favorable pricing, quality, and production capacities.
- Support culinary/marketing on any new menu options to help meet CMG standards and cost/availability requirements, especially LTO project work.
- Work with cross functional teams to onboard new suppliers and/or production facilities that meet CMG standards to help support supply growth and diversification while ensuring available category capacity to support CMG demand growth.
- Identification/realization of cost-saving opportunities, cost-avoidance exercises, and supplier joint-process-improvements without compromising supply assurance or quality.
- Pricing/Product Management in Oracle, Semarchy, Foodlogiq, etc.
- Update team/organization on commodity markets and ingredient pricing through monthly Oracle updates, category reviews, forecasts, and market news.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
- B.A./B.S. required
- M.B.A. preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, preferably procurement and vendor relationship management; food industry experience. Experience in raw material/ commodities markets. Experience in cross-functional project work.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $120,000. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
