WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipe and production specifications.
- Assist with vegetable preparation including washing, slicing, dicing, mixing, and mashing.
- Prepare salsas and sauces as needed.
- Organize and stock kitchen with necessary supplies and ingredients.
- Operate equipment including fryers, slicers, dicers, sanitizers, and stoves.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization, including equipment and work areas.
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation at all times.
- Communicate effectively with culinary team and managers for efficient workflow.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
- Previous experience working as a prep cook or in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of basic knife handling skills and culinary techniques is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet required preparation time schedules.
- Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends as needed.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Positive attitude and willingness to receive feedback, learn, and be part of a culinary team.
