The Opportunity
As a Kitchen Leader at Chipotle, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our delicious food every day. You'll oversee kitchen operations, manage inventory levels, and train other team members to become future Kitchen Leaders. Your role will also involve communicating effectively with customers and colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a smooth guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, and following kitchen procedures
* Monitor food waste and inventory levels, and resolve food quality issues
* Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house Crew and front-of-house Crew
* Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders
* Communicate with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great customer service and throughput
* Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized
* Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it's kept in good repair; make sure malfunctioning equipment is repaired as quickly as possible
Requirements
* Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
* Knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand English
* High school diploma
* Restaurant experience
