DESCRIPTION
Junior Level Quality inspectors are capable of carrying out all duties and responsibilities and assuming a broader array of Quality department activities. The position requires employees to maintain quality and safety standards, accurate time and record keeping, and demonstrate superior cleanliness and organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Practice safety standards as identified by the Company Handbook, orientation, and verbal instruction from supervisory staff. This includes safety glasses, proper shoes, lifting techniques, and safe chip handling.
- Maintain clean and organized work area.
- Can generate PPAP's and FAI's without assistance
- Is qualified for offsets and tool changes.
- Supports and assists operators with in-process inspection activities
- Can approve OSP (Outside Service Provider) deliveries
- Capable of generating OVS programs without assistance
- Capable of APQP review of gage, inspection equipment and OVS (Oasis Vision System) requirements.
- Can generate Quality Alerts
- Provides new employee orientation training as assigned
- Capable of using all Quality software including SPC and Minitab
- Provides support for MRB meetings and records.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), one to three months related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
