Chipton-Ross is seeking a CPM Scheduler 3 for a contract opportunity in Pascagoula, MS.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE) :
Bachelors degree and ten (10) years of related experience or a Masters degree with eight (8) years of related experience. High diploma or equivalent with 18 years related experience. A combination of education and related experience may be substitute in lieu of degree.
Candidate must have experience using scheduling software and Critical Path Management.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed. Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements. Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders. Successful candidate should have an understanding of Shipbuilding or construction sequencing, resourcing loading in a scheduling environment , IMP / IMS development and maintenance, and Critical Path Analysis..
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE) :
Experience in Overhaul Planning & Production Control.
Experience in Overhaul Unship Material management process. Project management experience in P6 or MS Project
REQUIRED EDUCATION :
High school diploma is required.
School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS :
Full-Time 5 / 40, workweek 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift.
