Chipton-Ross is seeking a Hardware Engineer III for a contract opportunity in Syracuse, NY.
Active Secret Clearance is Required
This position is 100% onsite.
OT is not authorized.
There is a opportunity to be hired full-time with the client.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
Lead a Hardware Engineering team of up to 6 engineers.
- Provide the technical and programmatic leadership for hardware design and support teams.
- Ensure adequate trade studies, architectures, technical analysis, common hardware solutions, quality of products, and proper engineering process and methodology are followed.
- Work with First Line Managers to properly staff programs.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead / interact with a cross functional team. Will interact directly with various internal / external customers to work through technical issues, program planning, and field support.
- Provide Earned Value updates as the program Cost Account Manager for all hardware engineering work packages.
