Chipton-Ross is seeking a Talent Acquisition Representative 2 for a contract / hybrid opportunity in Newport News, VA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE) :
Bachelors in related field and 3 years of relevant professional experience. 1 year of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
Experience in a high-volume workplace, experience in applicant tracking systems, great customer service / communication skills.
Self-Starter, Capable of High-Volume Work, Great Communication.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
Conducts interviews to recruit prospective employees and refers job applicants to specific job openings. Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, physical and personal qualifications, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral. Prepares rating on applicants, makes recommendations on starting salaries, and provides applicants with information on the company. May administer tests and interpret results, check references, arrange transportation of selected applicants, extend formal job offers, work with outside agencies and vendors, etc.
Leveling Factors :
Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. General application of concepts, and principles. Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks.
Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Works under only very general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Errors in judgement or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify.
Frequent internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects. May make presentations to small groups.
REQUIRED EDUCATION :
Bachelors in related field OR Master's degree is required.
School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS :
First Shift 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM, M-F, 5 / 40 workweek First 8 weeks onsite training, then hybrid (1-2 days per week onsite)
