FULL-TIME/FIRST SHIFT 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Test & Evaluation Lab Tech 3s for a contract opportunity in North Charleston, SC.

Must Be a US Citizen with no dual Citizenship

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, check, set up, and operate Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) and/or process equipment

Conduct routine tests, analyze data and document results

Troubleshoot and recommend resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems

Update equipment status using established systems and complete associated paperwork

Ensure equipment is ready for calibration per metrology processes

Prioritize and perform work according to automated daily report list, hot list, or as assigned by lead technician

Perform visual check of M&TE/process equipment for discrepancies and wear

Identify, document, and route non-conforming items in accordance with metrology lab processes

Provide information and clarification to customers on metrology processes

Work with other employees engaged in the calibration and certification of M&TE, and assist in the development of new calibration processes and procedures

Perform computations necessary to analyze measurement test results

Perform logistics associated with routing calibrated assets to remote Boeing labs and suppliers for calibration services

Perform tasks associated with Test Asset Management and Property Management including asset tagging, redeployment, storage and surplus

Works under general supervision

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

" 1 years of experience in metrology and/or calibration/certification, and/or instrumentation

Calibration background REQUIRED

Plan, check, set up, and operate Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) and/or process equipment~

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

" 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

" 3 years of experience in metrology and/or calibration/certification, and/or instrumentation

" Experience working on a quality and production orientated team

" Mechanical background experience

HARD REQUIREMENTS:

Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training

Regular and predictable attendance is required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor 1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.). Education must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:

FULL-TIME/FIRST SHIFT 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Hourly pay rate is $34.18-43.12
