Chiropractic Practice Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the chiropractic practice by providing exceptional patient service and assisting with various clinical tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to assess patient needs effectively, and have be familiar with knowledge of proper biomechanical movements when lifting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Conduct initial patient assessments, gathering relevant medical history and information, as well as taking X-Rays.
• Educate patients about treatment plans and procedures, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Assist the chiropractor during examinations and treatments, including preparing equipment and treatment rooms.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards.
• Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Stay informed about medical terminology and chiropractic practices to enhance patient care.

Requirements

• Knowledge of physiology and anatomy is essential for effective patient assessment.
• Familiarity with medical terminology to communicate effectively within the clinical setting is preferred nut not required.
• Basic Knowledge about proper exercise biomechanics.
• Strong patient service skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
