Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the chiropractic practice by providing exceptional patient service and assisting with various clinical tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to assess patient needs effectively, and have be familiar with knowledge of proper biomechanical movements when lifting.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Conduct initial patient assessments, gathering relevant medical history and information, as well as taking X-Rays.
- Educate patients about treatment plans and procedures, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Assist the chiropractor during examinations and treatments, including preparing equipment and treatment rooms.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards.
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Stay informed about medical terminology and chiropractic practices to enhance patient care.
Requirements
- Knowledge of physiology and anatomy is essential for effective patient assessment.
- Familiarity with medical terminology to communicate effectively within the clinical setting is preferred nut not required.
- Basic Knowledge about proper exercise biomechanics.
- Strong patient service skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
