- Analyze target digital network data to identify, investigate, and document malicious or unauthorized activity using information from SIGINT and computer network defense resources
- Analyze metadata from tasked communications systems to identify, locate, and track targets, and accurately report intelligence derived from the analysis
- Categorize network traffic as benign, suspicious, or malicious; and document tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used in malicious activities
- Develop and implement strategies for mitigating network threats and vulnerabilities.
- Focus on both network-based and host-based security analysis
