Chiropractic Rehab Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Rehab Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the chiropractic practice by assisting with patient care and ensuring a smooth operation of daily activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, exercise science, everyday wellness, excellent patient service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Administering pelvic blocking and SOT therapy to enhance patient alignment and comfort
• Utilizing vibration plates to promote muscle activation and recovery.
• Provide exceptional patient service by ensuring comfort and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Applying muscle scraping (Graston Technique) to reduce muscle tension and improve mobility.
• Developing personalized exercise plans tailored to each new patient's needs and goals.
• Administering Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) to facilitate muscle recovery and pain relief.
• Conducting intersegmental traction to enhance spinal flexibility and overall wellness.
• Delivering therapies in accordance with doctors' reports and treatment plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Degree/Certification in or related to Health and Exercise Science preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, exercise science and everyday wellness is essential for effective patient assessment.
• Familiarity with medical terminology to accurately document patient information.
• Strong patient service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for patients.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in patient care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
